Anything described here in general terms — machine types, what an upgrade does, what an older machine can run — is a description of the category, not an offer or a guarantee about a specific machine.

Where we describe what a refurbished machine can and cannot do, that is our honest assessment based on the kind of hardware involved. Real performance depends on the individual machine, the software on it and what you are asking of it.
