We are a workshop first
Most places selling second-hand computers are shops that happen to have stock. We are a bench that happens to sell machines.
That order matters. A workshop already has the tools, the parts and the habit of opening things up. So when a machine comes in, opening it, cleaning it, replacing what is worn and testing it properly is not a special service — it is just what happens to everything.
It is also why we can put a warranty on the result. 90 days on every refurbished computer we sell, and 90 days on hardware repairs and any part we fit. You do not offer that on machines you have not looked inside.
How we work
You get a firm quote before anything starts
Not a range, not an estimate that moves. A price you have agreed to.
You get it within 24 hours
Ring or send the form, tell us what the machine is for, and the answer comes back the next working day at the latest.
Most jobs are done in two to three days
We will talk you out of things
If your machine only needs an SSD and some memory, we will tell you that rather than sell you a replacement. If refurbished is the wrong tool for what you are doing, we will say so. The smaller honest job is better business than the bigger wrong one.
Why this suburb
Perth is unusually well suited to refurbished computers, for two reasons that sit on top of each other.
The offices supply it. The towers along St Georges Terrace — Central Park, QV1, Brookfield Place — turn over their computer fleets every few years, and the machines that come out are three or four years old, well specified and barely marked. Business hardware is built to run for years and to be repaired rather than replaced, which is exactly what you want second-hand.
The residents need it. At the last census about 80 per cent of homes in Perth were flats or apartments and only about nine in a hundred were separate houses, and Edith Cowan University's city campus brought roughly 8,500 students and staff into the CBD when it opened, heading toward 10,000. Small spaces, tight budgets, and a laptop that has to work.
Offices upstairs, apartments and students downstairs. The hardware barely has to move.
What we sell
Refurbished laptops · Refurbished computers and all-in-ones · Custom gaming PC builds · Device trade-in · SSD and memory upgrades

What we do not do
We do not publish a price list, because stock changes every week and any list would be wrong by Friday. Ring and we will tell you what is in.
We do not promise a particular model on a particular day. Refurbished stock is what has come in, not what we can order.
We do not trade after hours or on weekends. Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
Where to find us
The workshop is in Bayswater, a short run from the city. There is no showroom in Perth itself. Contact us · Service areas
